Dr. Stephen Buchwald Joins Atinary’s Advisory Board
Atinary welcomes Dr. Stephen Buchwald, pioneering chemist behind Buchwald–Hartwig reaction, to advance AI-driven molecular discovery and innovation.
Atinary is honored to announce that Professor Stephen L. Buchwald, the Camille Dreyfus Professor of Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has joined Atinary’s Scientific Advisory Board. His groundbreaking work, including the renowned Buchwald–Hartwig reaction and Buchwald Ligands, revolutionized organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and catalyst design, and earned him the place as one of the most cited chemists in the world.
Professor Buchwald is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Linus Pauling Medal, a MERIT award from the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the Wolf Prize in Chemistry, and the BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award.
