Atinary Welcomes Dr. Paco Laveille to its Scientific Advisory Board
Dr. Paco Laveille, a global leader in high-throughput experimentation, chemistry, and catalysis R&D, joins Atinary’s Scientific Advisory Board to further accelerate AI-driven innovation and scientific discovery.
Atinary is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Paco Laveille to our Scientific Advisory Board. With a distinguished career in catalysis research and automated experimentation, Dr. Laveille brings unparalleled expertise that aligns with Atinary’s mission to revolutionize R&D with its self-driving labs™ technology and advanced AI-driven solutions.
Dr. Laveille currently serves as Managing Director of the ETH Zürich Catalysis Hub – SwissCAT+ East, where he spearheads efforts to automate R&D in the field of catalysis. Under his leadership, the hub has developed a state-of-the-art technology platform integrating high-throughput and automated experimentation with cutting-edge AI and machine learning techniques. This transformative approach has significantly advanced heterogeneous catalysis research, setting new benchmarks in scientific discovery.
Throughout his career, Dr. Laveille has held pivotal roles, including at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in UAE and the KAUST Catalysis Center in Saudi Arabia, where he established the first automated synthesis and high-throughput platforms in both countries. His work has driven groundbreaking developments in catalyst design and sustainable technologies, a legacy he continues to build at ETH Zürich.
This appointment strengthens Atinary’s ongoing partnership with SwissCAT+, highlighted by a recent joint publication demonstrating the power of Atinary’s no-code AI platform, SDLabs, in accelerating chemical catalysis R&D.
