SDLabs Platform receives the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label
Atinary's Self-Driving Labs Platform is awarded the Efficient Solutions Label, awarded by the Solar Impulse Foundation.
On October 28, 2022, Atinary’s AI no-code and Self-Driving Labs Platform received the “Efficient Solutions Label”, awarded by the Solar Impulse Foundation. This trademark is designed to bring attention to sustainable solutions on products, services, and/or processes that demonstrate strong environmental and economic performance.
Atinary’s SDLabs Platform offers a solution to scientists and R&D labs across sectors, including chemistry, materials science, pharma and biotechnology. Through the integration of AI, automation, and cloud computing, the platform improves R&D workflows, resulting in shorter time-to-market and reduced development costs. Among the list of environmental benefits are:
- 10x faster and lead to better performance than state-of-the-art methods used in industry, such as high-throughput experimentation and Design of Experiment
- find the optimal blend formulation of organic polymer solar cells with less than 3% of the samples needed using conventional traditional trial-and-error methods and high-throughput experimentation (HTE).
On the economical side, the Self-Driving Labs Platform:
- Reduces the number of samples and experiments needed to find optimal materials and molecules by up to 33x compared to high-throughput experimentation and up to 22x compared to Design of Experiment
- Utilizes the transfer learning algorithm to accelerate materials optimization and discovery by up to 5x, leveraging prior knowledge from past experiments and use this knowledge in new applications
- Increases the probability of discovering the advanced materials needed to develop biodegradable plastics, or better, lighter, non-toxic, non-flammable and/or easier to recycle batteries
